Cruisly Cookie & Similar Technologies Policy

This policy explains how Cruisly uses cookies, local browser storage and similar technologies.

The term “cookies” is often used broadly, but websites and applications can store or access information on a device in several different ways.

Cruisly therefore refers to these collectively as storage and access technologies.

Cruisly currently uses browser storage only where required to provide core application functionality.

Authentication session storage

When you sign in, Supabase authentication stores session information in your browser’s local storage.

Purpose:
To authenticate your account and keep you signed in while you use Cruisly.

Provider:
Supabase / Cruisly.

Duration:
Individual access tokens are short-lived, currently approximately one hour, and may be refreshed automatically while your session remains valid.

The stored authenticated session may remain until you sign out, delete your account, the session expires or it is revoked.

Signing out or deleting your Cruisly account clears or invalidates the relevant authentication session.

This storage is necessary to provide the signed-in Cruisly service requested by the user.

Cruisly does not currently use analytics cookies or analytics tracking technologies such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Meta analytics or similar services.

Cruisly does not currently use advertising pixels, behavioural advertising cookies, cross-site tracking or retargeting technologies.

Cruisly’s Sora and Manrope font files are hosted directly by Cruisly.

The public application does not load these fonts from Google Fonts.

Cruisly currently uses only storage required to provide requested account and authentication functionality.

We do not currently place optional analytics or advertising technologies on your device.

For that reason, Cruisly does not currently display an “Accept all / Reject all” tracking banner.

If we introduce technologies that require consent in future, we will introduce appropriate controls before those technologies are activated for a user.

You can delete Cruisly’s stored browser information through your browser or device settings.

Removing authentication session information may sign you out of Cruisly and require you to log in again.

As Cruisly develops, the technologies we use may change.

If we introduce analytics, advertising or other optional storage/access technologies, this policy will be updated and any legally required choice or consent controls will be introduced.
